Decoy / Attraction: a theory course

A decoy draws a piece onto a square where another tactic becomes possible.

5 lessons, each followed by its own puzzle drill, then 10 themed puzzle packs.

• Attract the King — Draw the king onto a vulnerable square.
• Decoy onto a Fork — Draw a piece onto a square where it can be forked.
• Decoy onto a Line — Line up the targets for a pin or skewer.
• Decoy to the Mating Square — Draw the king into a mating attack.
• Decoy to Set Up a Second Tactic — Use a decoy to prepare a second tactic.
