Knight Taxi: the knight-route drill

The knight is the piece humans read worst. Its move is the only one with no straight line, which is why knight forks account for so many lost queens below 1400. Knight Taxi gives you a knight, a target square, and sixty seconds: get there in the fewest moves, then do it again from somewhere harder. Played daily, it rewires knight geometry from something you compute to something you see — L by L, the whole board becomes routes. The payoff in real games is double: you spot your own knight's forks and maneuvers faster, and you stop stepping into your opponent's. The fastest cure for "I never saw the fork."
